Are You At Risk For Acid Wear?

Are You At Risk
For Acid Wear?

Foods that are highly acidic leading to acid wear of your teeth's enamel incluidng juice, wine and lime.

Your eating, drinking and brushing habits could be putting your enamel at risk. Acid Wear damages your tooth enamel and gradually changes the shape, texture and appearance of your teeth. Teeth may lose their brightness as the enamel wears away and the underlying dentin shows through. This “transparency” can be an early warning sign of Acid Wear. Tooth sensitivity is another typical sign that can show up at a later stage of the Acid Wear process. Teeth may become discolored, rounded or transparent on the edges, or dented on the chewing surface, too. Discover your risk level by taking our quiz here.
